BADA TALK

Bada Talk uses narrative stories to teach children thematic vocabulary and phrases through contextual reading. It is the core vocabulary program in the ESL course, and it focuses on building strong concept imagery of basic vocabulary words related to themes. The three major themes are “Around the Home,” “Health and Exercise,” and “Nature and Community.”

Overview

Bada Talk 1 is great for learners…

that are 3.5+ years old.

that know their colors, numbers, and shapes but have limited vocabulary related to their immediate world (e.g. home and family).

that can respond to basic WH-questions asked in English but cannot answer questions requiring short-sentence answers.

that are 4+ years old.

that have basic English vocabulary related to colors, numbers, shapes, family, and the home.

that can respond to basic WH-questions asked in English but struggle to answer questions requiring short-sentence answers.
