Bada Sound
Bada Sound is a comprehensive phonics program in the ESL course. It is divided into five levels with a focus on building phonemic awareness and a basic sight word base. Confident, independent readers need a deep understanding of phonics. Throughout this program, children learn all the common phonemes in the English language, including short and long vowels, digraphs, consonant blends, and diphthongs.
Curriculum Framework
Bada Sound 1 :
- For learners 3-6 years old
- Develops a child’s oral language through nursery rhymes
- Engages children in sensory play
- Exposes children to patterns of language
- Develops gross motor skills

Bada Sound 2 :
- For learners 5-8 years old
- Continues to focus on building phonemic awareness and a strong sight word base
- Focuses on phonemes, including consonants, long and short vowels, digraphs, consonant blends, diphthongs, and r-controlled vowel sounds
